Amplitude, thesis by Cathal Curtin, executed under tutorship of James Shields + John McLaughlin (UCD Architecture, 2008), nominated for RIBA President's Medal, 2009. The President’s Medal Student Awards, recognised as world’s most prestigious awards in architectural education, were inaugurated in 1836 (the institutes oldest award). Amplitude to be exhibited, at RHA, Dublin, from Sept. 3rd 2010.
